Wholesale wood craft parts and wood components have always been an important area of production for Wells Wood Turning & Finishing. We manufacture a wide range of craft parts and components. As a large manufacturer, we are a key partner in the supply chain for wood-products wholesalers, distributors, retailers and DIY-ers looking for this category of wood turnings.

We make our wood craft parts and wood components on high-capacity spool lathes and so-called automatic variety lathes. These machines specialize in smaller-sized turnings manufactured to tolerances at a high rate of speed. We have the capacity to custom-manufacture very large orders.

Typically, we turn our wood products from white birch, yellow birch, hard maple or ash. These parts are tumble sanded smooth, and can be tumble finished with a stain, clear varnish, wax or colorful enamel paint.

Not a broker, we are the actual manufacturer, based in Buckfield, Maine, USA! We sustainably source all of our raw wood material from sawmills in North America (yes, this includes Quebec, Canada!). All manufacturing operations are performed onsite at the mill in Buckfield. Our dedicated employees live in our nearby communities.
