We make our wholesale wood furniture components right at the mill, in Buckfield, Maine. Our wood furniture parts are turned on back knife, Hempel and CNC lathes. The Wells team sands these components smooth on rotary sanders. Our wood turning mill has the capability to perform various secondary operations, like cross bores, end bores, and hanger bolting. We can finish your products with stain, varnish or paint.

We have the capacity to custom-manufacture very large orders. Some customers place “blanket orders,” where we make period shipments during the year. Typically, we turn our wood furniture components from white birch, yellow birch, hard maple, ash, cherry and walnut.
