Baseball’s terminology is deeply embedded in everyday American English idioms, such as “stepping up to the plate,” “hitting it out of the park,” or “throwing a curveball.” Not to mention legendary figures like Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson.

All our production is performed at the mill in Buckfield, Maine. We sustainably source all of our raw wood material from sawmills in North America.

Manufacture of Souvenir Mini Baseball Bats

Well Wood Turning makes baseball mini bats from yellow birch hardwood. The bats are 1.25 inches at the barrel and 18″ long. The profile offers a flat section of almost 6 inches for printing or engraving. The novelty bats are made on a traditional back knife lathe, and then sanded smooth on a rotary sander. After we clip the barrel end, the bats are ready for finishing. Bats can be dipped in a water-based varnish or different water-based paint colors. Many customers take the bats plain and do their own finishing.

We can personalize mini bats with pad printing or laser engraving. The space available for personalization / customization is about 1.15″ tall x almost 6.00″. With pad printing, we can apply one color only.

We also make souvenir bats in other sizes, including 10″, 28″ and 34″. Just to be clear, the larger bats are for promotional purposes only — they are not field-playing bats. These sizes can also be finished with varnish or colors. Please let us know how we can help!
